Hello,

I'm using activesync 3.7.1 together with outlook 2000 and a hp 2210.
My problem with activesync is that it also always runs an outlook
session in the background (outlook.exe & mapisp32.exe)

The result is that the outlook rules (sorting incoming mail to different
folders) do not function anymore.
if I close Activesync (stopping the processes wsecomm, outlook &
mapisp32) and then open outlook, those rules function correctly.

I would like to manual start Activesync. When the sync has ended or I
close the Activesync window, Activesync should completely terminate.
Is there a (registry?) setting to do this?

removing the entry in the Run key in the registry is not sufficient as
it get recreated each time activesync runs.

regards
glenn
