Hi
I have a problem with my new ipaq rx 4700 running pocket pc.
When I go on the net the pages do not display correctly. Instead of graphics
there is merely a small box in the top left with a 3 symbols in it.
Does anyone have a clue as to what has gone wrong? I have tried searching
the Microsoft database but as usual I am not asking the correct question.
Thanks
John |

one option in explorer is to set it not to display photos when it has a web
page displayed... check the menu options.....

It sounds like you've turned off images, or you're looking at Flash
Player content. To tell this apart, start pocket IE, go to the View
menu and select Show Images (it should be checked)
Reload the page. If this continuesm try getting the flash player from
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/pocketpc/2002.html
Install that, close and reopen PIE and see if the problem persists. If
it does you might be looking at Java or other stuff, which isn't
supported in PIE so you'd need to get a different browser like
Netfront, which does support Java applets.
Cheers - Neil
