When I sync my Ipaq 4155 it launches the internet. How do
I disable that function. I do not want the internet to
launch. thanks

Hi David,

Here are a few possibile reasons for the Internet connection to get launched
when you try to sync:

* If your PPC is trying to use the computer to pass through Internet access

To disable it, you will need to set the setting in ActiveSync to work
instead of the Internet.

1. Open ActiveSync -> Tools -> Options -> click the Rules tab.
2. Change the pass through setting.

* If you are using AvantGo

If AvantGo is selected in Activesync, then it will try to connect to the
Internet to retrieve content of the channels subscribed for. To disable
this feature:

1. Open ActiveSync -> Tools -> Options
2. De-select the setting for Avantgo.
