Internet trough PC

Can an PPC2002 connect to internet or to any lan resource trought the USB
connection with the PC? I had a PPC2000 and thats doenst work (Jornada 545),
now i want to upgrade to Jornada 568 (PPC2002) but first want to be sure
that the pass trough feature will now work.

Hi,

Yes it is possible for a device running PPC 2002 or higher to connect to
Internet using the pass-through feature. The basic requirements for
pass-through connection are as follows:

* Pocket PC 2002 or higher.
* Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5 or higher.
* Desktop PC with an Internet connection.

I don't think you will be able upgrade your Jornada 545 to PPC 2002 since it
doesn't have a flashable ROM... in addition.. Unfortunately, the Jornada
series are no longer available.. so getting a J568 might be pretty
difficult... you will need to consider other brands of PPCs.
