Post subject: Inbox: Attention Required
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>activesync (more info?)

I have a user trying to dial up remotely and sync his email via Outlook.
This has worked in the past without problems. Once dialed in ActiveSync
will sync his Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, etc. and stop at the Inbox saying
"Attention Required". Clicking on the "Resolve Items" link just brings back
a generic warning message window stating - "Information Type not
Synchronized: Items of one or more information types cannot be
synchronized. Disconnect and reconnect your device. To view all error
messages and dialog boxes that require your input, you must connect to this
computer via infrared or USB/Serial cable." Unfortunately, he is at a
remote location so we can't do this.

I have rebooted the local pc and had the user reboot the Pocket PC. I
thought it may be an attachment conversion problem, and moved all the
e-mails that had attachments to another folder that wasn't set to be sync'd.
I changed the Mail Synchronization settings to only pull mail from the last
1 day instead of the last 5. I cannot find the wcesmgr.log or the
outstore.log files anywhere on the local pc.

We are using AS 3.7, Windows XP, and Outlook XP.

Any ideas what to try now? Thanks.
