Post subject: Inbox Problem
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc (more info?)

My Pocket PC (Casio E-125) lost all power during the holidays. When I turned it up it had reversed to original config. I used backup restore (last time backed up 2 month ago) to restore my PPC. Now when I open my "Inbox" I get the following error message "Mail attachments were not found. Check to make sure the correct storage card is in the device". I tried unchecking the "Store attachments on storage card" on the Tools/Storage tab of the Inbox, but after I exit, if I come back, it is checked again. Also tried moving the "Inbox" directory on my storage card to another directory hoping that it would rebuild a new Inbox, but that doesn't work. If I use the option of saving attachments on Activesync, if there is an attachment on the e-mail I get un-resolves items on my inbox, and the attachments are not copied. If I try to "resolve" I get error 8007001D. I also tried deleting the partnership and creating a new partnership, but that didn't work either.

Is there a way to restore/rebuild the "Inbox"? Any ideas on what to do?

Found the fix. Looked into the registry and found the entry showing the inbox name. Renamed the inbox in the storage card to match the entry on the registry. It works fine now.
