Anyone out there using the Pocket hotmail software??? I am
thinking about it but just have a few question I can't get
answered. Does it replace my Outlook inbox with a Hotmail
inbox or is it a seprate inbox altogether??? What is the
differance between using Pocket Hotmail and just putting
your hotmail address in Outlook??? and syncing that way??
Any help appreciated. Paul A.

Hi Paul,
It doesn't seem to work at all with windows mobile. I believe you have
to use pie to view your hotmail.
HTH,

Mort is correct, Pocket Hotmail does not work under WM2003. The function
though is that it lets you create a service under Inbox on the PPC using
your hotmail account. Hotmail is an HTTP mail service and that is not
normally supported in PPC Inbox. You cannot just set up a Hotmail account
in Outlook and have it sync. When you set up Hotmail in Outlook it sets up
an independent Hotmail Inbox that is different than the Inbox that is sync'd
by ActiveSync.
