HotSync asking for password?

My Palm Vx crashed so I needed to do a hard reset and restore the
data. However, now when I perform the HotSync, I am asked for my Palm
Password before it will start. The HotSync Operation then takes 5+
minutes. I have never had this problem before as it *never* used to
ask me for a password.
