i have seen details of an external USB external hard drive but that was only
for the Toshiba PPC as thats the only PPC with USB host capabilities, there
was a CF USB host adapter card but you would have to find drivers for your
usb hard drive enclosure as well as an external power supply for the drive
itself, the beauty of the pcmcia solution is the ipaq suplies the power for
the hard drive so its self contained.
