Post subject: Error in emulator

Hi

The Embedded VB project runs on my iPaq. When I run it on
the emulator it comes up with an error.

Application Error
The control GridCtrl ({532C2C02-......})
could not be created.

It works on hte iPaq, why does it fail on the Emulator???

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)
Check if the GridControl is present and registeerd on the emulator..
You can check\register through ControlManager tool of the eVB IDE..

What does it mean when I click on the emulator in the Control Manager
and it says:

"Failed to find a suitable Control Manager Server for your device"


It seems to work ok for the real PocketPC 2002 but the 2002 emulator
fails with this message every time. The emulator is exactly as it was
'out of the box'.
