Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>developer (more info?)

As stated on the documentation, Emulator for pocket Pc
2003 can be used to connect to activesync and develop sync
applications easier.
I already make the changes on the configuration to make
this work with negative results.

Do someone have a clue of what is going on?

The Test on the connection manager fails.

Thanks Reed for your time:
Even do the instructions were deep on the documentation I
found them. I already followed the instructions.
But the "Virtual switch" configuration didn't pass the
test. I hope this is the only problem. I am already
working with the emulator on NAT having no problems.
Further help will be appreciated!

Thanks again Reed:
No firewalls. No wireless. ADSL or wired network is what
I use and on both the "Test" does not work.

I will appreciate very mucha your help. I don't know why,
the message doesn't arrive directly to my mail. That is
why I didn't reply earlier.

If I can help you to solve this problem, please, just send
me a mail to masoreya DeleteThis @yahoo.com.
Maybe I can test different configurations or something
that can help you find the problem.

Also:

I am working on a complex activesync server that will
require to sync many objecttypes but the user will not be
able to check or uncheck individual items because they are
correlated (referential integrity will kill me).
All the examples I found on the books are so simple that
don't show me how to handle a situation better than one
object type.

Any help will be appreciated!

Marcelo
