Post subject: Digitizer mis-aligned?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>palmtops>pilot (more info?)

Hi,

A friend has a black and white Palm (not sure which model), which has a
wierd problem.

The digitizer was way out (about an inch or two below where it should be, ie
click the top of the screen, and it registers on the bottom).

A hard reset fixed this, but as soon as he hot-syncs his data back on, it
gets misaligned again.

He says he has not installed any other third party software on it.

I assume that part of the horsync backup is the digitizer settings - can
anyone tell me which file to delete from the backup, so re-hotsyncing his
data back on doesnt misalign it again.

Or, is there any other way to kick off the Welcome app to calibrate the
digitizer? a secret key combo perhaps?

thanks
George
