I have a Toshiba e335 Pocket PC with the USB host cable and a Garmin eTrex
Vista GPS with a serial cable. I need a USB - Serial adapter to connect the
Toshiba and the Garmin. I bought an adapter made by IOGEAR, but then found
out that even though they say it's for PDAs they don't have a driver for
Pocket PCs. When I try to use it, the Toshiba asks for a driver that AFAIK
I don't have. I've looked at Belkin and Keyspan adapters, and they don't
seem to provide drivers for Pocket PCs either. Does anyone know of one that
will work? Thanks.

I've made a little serial-cable crossover cable. A male-male plugg to use
between the serialcable from my Garmin GPS and the serialcable from my
iPaq5450. Just crossed pin 2-3 and connected pin 5 in both ends.

That's one of the tradeoffs I made when I got the Toshiba: no serial
interface, only USB.
