We are a commercial reseller/user/developer of the iPAQ.
We supply a large amount of iPAQs to a commercial working
environment that needs to sync many devices in guest
partnership to numerous different locations. We are
running into SERIOUS connectivity issues with acitve sync
3.7.1, and we haven't been able to find a solution that
will allow our customers to sync in a timely manner.
Basically, all of the iPAQs that are being used are
either the compaq 3950, 3955, or HP 5150. We have all
devices connecting in guest partnership. The standard
procedure currently is tedious and time consuming, and
doesn't always work. More often than not, we are having
to do a factory reset and start over (after beaming the
necessary info to a device that will connect). The
majority of our connectivity problems have occured with
the 5150. is there a patch or solution that we can use to
help alleviate this problem?

What are the "SERIOUS connectivity issues"? And which "standard
procedure" are you referring to?

You are aware that there were changes to the RAPI for 3.7.1, which may
affect third-party synchronization modules?

Further have you contacted HP for assistance? They may be able to help you
more quickly since you are a customer of theirs.
