Post subject: Active Sync will not Sync or copy a word document with embedded pictures
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>activesync (more info?)

Hi,

I'm having a problem where I get e-mails with word
documents attached and they will not sync with active
sync. Specifically the word documents contain embedded
pictures (screen shots taken with ALT-PRINTSCREEN and then
pasted into the document).

If I save the attachment and try to copy it with explorer
it sits there saying "converting to pocket word" for a
while and then nothing happens - the file hasn't been
copied at all.

Hoping someone can help

Regards,

Stephen Lewis
