Active Sync Stops Responding on Ipaq

Whn I first connect my Ipaq to my USB cable I have to stop
the Activesync app from running on the Ipaq, unplug the
cable and plug it in again. Active sync will connect
then. The next time I disconnect and try to reconnect the
ipaq it does the same thing. I have to stop the
Activesync from runnig or reboot the ipaq device.

If you have any ideas please give them.

Try a soft reset.
