I use Tiger. I use ICal. Whenever my laptop battery dies the computer
resets the date to some point other than the right date. When I open
ICal I find the some, but not all, of my events have moved one date
forward. Thus a Saturday event is moved to a Sunday.
1) Is there any way to go back to my old data/calendar
2) Is there a fix other than "don't run your laptop til the battery
dies."

Hi Mike,

You might try making an iCal database backup which can be found under
the 'File' menu in iCal. It is very quick to backup and restore the
database.

You probably are set to the wrong time zone. iCal stores event times
as GMT. If the time zone is changed, some will move to the previous or
next day. When the battery dies you are losing the time and zone. If
you don't reset both, some events will be on the wrong days.
