Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>misc (more info?)

Am considering getting a 10g iPod and installing it in the left front
fairing compartment of my Goldwing along with an itrip FM thingee that
allows you to play through an FM radio.

Question for those that might know. Which do you think would be better
in this situation, the itrip or maybe a cassette adapter that would play
from the ipod through my cassette player? Have been told that the itrip
works fine if you can find a dead frequency that remains available to
the itrip as you travel. Wondering if the cassette adapter would solve
this problem.

Thoughts appreciated.........tia........Rich

Considering the sparkling acoustic environment of a motorcycle
on the road...go for the cassette adapter. Less fiddly than
trying to keep the FM xmtr feeding your radio, and it's not
too likely that you're going to notice much difference in music
quality, if any.
