Post subject: I Can't download office for Mac Os X Version 10.4.11

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

I'm trying to download a trial of office 2008 (or even 2004) for a Mac Os X 10.4.11 version and can't seem to install the trial program! Please send me a link or the answer...

Currently, neither is available. Several folks have made the request but
Microsoft so far hasn't released a trial for Office 2008. They've
removed the Test Drive for Office 2004 from their website.

If you have a Mac that came with Mac OS X 10.4 then the bundled
applications usually included the Office 2004 Test Drive. You can try
looking there.

AFAIK the trial version of Office 2004 is no longer available & the only
legitimate source of download for the trial or the full version of Office
2008 is the Mactopia web site:

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/office2008/trial-download.mspx

If that's where you're downloading it from but are having a problem with the
installation itself you'll need to supply specific details describing what
that problem is... "can't seem to install" seems to supersede "trying to
download" but doesn't disclose anything about what's actually happening.

It would also be best to post any further inquiries to the Forum for Mac
Office rather than to this ubiquitous "otherproducts" group. Use the big
"Office For Mac" link on the Mactopia> Forums page.
