In excell, when I open an excel file, the top of the worksheet is in
back of the 3 toolbars that I alwasy keep open, making it difficult to
grab the top bar of the workseet and move it around.

The top of the workseet is hidden behind the 3 toolbars (laid out one
beneath the other) at the top of the screen.

How do I align the top of the workseet just under the bottom toolbar?

I suspect you have inadvertently undocked your toolbars - try moving the
toolbar handles slightly (starting with the top toolbar) to see if you
can "reseat" them in the top dock.

If the toolbars are docked, you can choose Window/Arrange to put the top
of the window under the lowermost docked toolbar.

To prevent your toolbars from becoming undocked, look here:

Many thanks for the tip. It seems to work. The referenced tip on
macros is beyond my abilities, but the "Arrange" selection from the
Window drop down menue seems to work most of the time; at least it is
better than it was. DBH
