Post subject: Photoshop Elements
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>portables (more info?)

Would like to buy a copy of Photoshop Elements 4 for Mac. Should be
complete with box, documents, and instructions (such as they are).

Why not use Gimp for the Mac. Free, and you can use the Photoshop plugins
too. It may not be 32 bit color but with experience you can get Gimp to
work as well. BTW there are several hundred plugins written for Gimp.

because it's nowhere near as good or as fast as photoshop elements.
although the gimp is free, pse is fairly cheap, often $50 or so. also,
the gimp only supports some filter plug-ins, not all of them, nor does
it support any other type of photoshop plug-in.
