I want to use an NSPathControl, or something similar. I want to allow
only folders or the root directory of a partition to be selected.
According to Interface Builder it seems to have a 'types' ability, but
I have no idea what to type into the 'types' box and can't find
anydocumentation for it.

Anyone know ?

You should really try it!

Use public.folder in the list of allowed types.

Hey, thanks for that. I must have missed your answer originally but I
noticed it in going back over old posts. I don't think about Carbon
much and I would never have found it myself.
