Multiple iPods on windows XP

I own a series 2 PC iPod (20 GB). Am considering getting a new series 3
iPod for a present for my girlfriend (20Gb version).

Obviously these will have different mp3s on etc... what I want to know is
can I connect them up to the same PC to transfer mp3s.

It won't be done simultaneously.

By preference I use ephPod, but iTunes for windows is also installed (manual
syncing).

I don't mind having 2 separate Windows XP users for this (in fact, I'd
prefer it).
