Greetings! Whenever I move a mail file to 'Junk', the program
crashes. This happens whether I am in 'Training' mode or in
'Automatic' mode.

Sys X 10.3.2 G4/400 2x40Gb HD 576 MB RAM etc.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem

I fixed it by running Disk Warrior. I have no idea what caused this, and
it has not reoccurred.

This was happening to me right after I once got junk mail that was
wholly blank. It had worked great for months, then crash city.
Essentially you've flagged as junk something that corrupted the rules
file. I believe that's the core of it.

I've forgotten the actual cure, someone gave me the info after I'd
barbarized it a bit more. But the nub of it is this: find your "rules"
file, wherever the hell that is, and remove it. Back in business.

Needless to say, back up everything in your mail-related files.

Same problem here. DiskWarrior, huh? I'll try that.

Three cases can't be just a coincidence.

Excellent stuff to know. Exactly which files should I update
regularly. When I had this difficulty I went throught
exlorational/educational process, but as is usually the case with the
Mac, I promptly forgot it since such difficulties rarely happen twice
to me.
