The message I just sent on MTNW hasn't shown up yet on my server, so I'm
making a new one (before I forget).

Another problem with the "Filters" menu's "Mark as Junk" and "Mark as
Not Junk" commands: I can use both of them just fine on a selected
article on the article list (of a single group), but only the "Mark as
Junk" works when I'm looking at an article. I can't un-junk-mark an
article while reading it; it only works on the article list.

It works, it just doesn't change the way the message is displayed in the
article list back from italics back to plain.

That is the way it works. Note further, if you don't want to see the
junk, you can set up a kill file for items marked as junk.
