Where does MS RDC store it's license information on the Macintosh? I've been
converting old iBooks in our inventory into remote desktop clients for our
offsite workers. After X Number of connect attempts it locks them out saying
something about licensing. The only way I have been able to get around it is
by formatting and reinstalling the OS/software. Any suggestions would be
Helpful. Is this a Client or server problem?

Thanks!

Hi Kevin!

Have a look at this link on Microsoft's site
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/187614>.

"The RDP client for Macintosh stores the license in a file on the local
computer in the folder hierarchy under /users/Shared/Microsoft/RDC
Crucial Server Information/. To clean the Macintosh client's license
cache, delete the contents of this folder. The client will try to obtain
a new license from the server the next time that it connects."

Hope this helps! bill
