I have a 15gb ipod (the new one) and am using it with my windows PC though
firewire and the docking station. Sometimes, when i switch off the ipod and
lock it, when i come back to it later on it will have turned itself on and
started playing. it seems to go through all the playlists stored on it in
order. this is obviously a bit annoying as it drains the battery.

also, sometimes when i remove it from the cradle (after ejecting it from the
PC first) the ipod has frozen and has to be turned off and on again. i can
live with this as i dont attach it to often but again, any ideas?

neil

I would check to make sure the battery is in good order.
