Question:

If I deceide to get a mac 1.4 ghz G4 with 512mb of ram would that be
enough to run it smothly or should upgrade to 1 ghz. My fear is that if
i deceide to load my computer with programs that require high use of ram
my computer will run really slow. programs like adobe CS, etc. What do
you recommend?. And if I pick the 512 mb can I upgrade later to a 1 ghz.

Thanks in advance.

Best bet is to get all the memory you can afford, but not from Apple.
Get the minimum from Apple, then get the rest elsewhere. Cheaper that
way.
