You wouldn't be confused if you would just pay attention to what he's
been saying all along. From the beginning, he's said he cannot open
links in new windows, period.

Well, what happens if you click and hold on the link and choose Open in

I get a spinning curser and nothing happens no matter how long I wait.
If I move the curser it stops spinning but nothing happens. |

Yes, those are a subset of your present bookmarks. Reinstalling Firefox
won't remove any of your personal settings and data. It won't
necessarily fix your problem, either.

To open a link in a new window
click and hold on the link and choose Open in New Window from the pop up
dialogue
And what settings do you have in Tabbed Browsing?

The problem manifests itself with any of the 3 settings in tabbed
browsing as well as clicking on a link and chosing Open in window. I
have mentioned this several times now. |

Mike,
You are 100% correct. I tried reinstalling and I retained everything
including the problem.

Well, it has to be something with your setup. Because it isnt a problem
that everyone has! If it was a 'bug' then everyone would see it, and
that simply isnt the case.
Lets widen the focus a little bit. Do you have any other problems? Is
Javascript enabled? Java?
