Post subject: Exporting data for survey distribution
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>excel (more info?)

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

My worksheet has separate columns for first name and email address (and several other data points). To individually address my survey to 600 people, I need to import the name and email addresses into my survey software. They must be formatted as, "johndoe@msn.com,john". I can't figure out how to add the comma after the email address and then add the contents from another cell.

Can someone help me out?

Try this:

if the e-mailaddress is in Cell A1
And John in Cell B1

type the following in cell C1:
=A1&","&B1

Good luck
