Entourage Calendar Sync Error -18576

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Yesterday I got an iPhone and set up active sync to my company's Exchange server. Now I am getting many errors (# -18576) with the following message:

Could not synchronize record: Calendar Item to Exchange server: CompanyName Exchange Server

I've tried deleting the Exchange account on my iPhone, and deleting calendar events older than today but that didn't help.

I still get the errors even without the email account setup on my iPhone, so I'm guessing this points to a server issue.

Any thoughts?

If you see this in just one or a handful of folders then right-click or
Control-click that folder or calendar, select Folder Properties and
click the Empty button to empty the cache. You can also select the
account itself and empty the cache for all of your folders.
