Post subject: "Corrupted" Local Email Groups
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>office>mac>entourage (more info?)

A number of our users have told us that their local groups are being
"corrupted". They set them up locally. One principal has a group that
included all of the Principals in the school District. This works fine but
then on occasion they will find an address in the group that does not belong
there. These are address to whom they have sent mail to but should NEVER be
included in the Principals group. In fact one turned out to be the parent of
a student. As you can imaging the parent received a communication that
should have gone only to the Principals.

Has anyone seen this issue? Is the group being auto-populated somehow?

Thank you, Gerald

YES!!! I am having the same sort of issue! I posted a note about it
yesterday referring to "Address Groups Randomly Changing".

You are the first person I've found who has reported a similar problem.

I wish I had something to offer other than sympathy. Hopefully someone
with more insight will "pipe up" soon.
