Hi,

Just got a network adapter for the PS2, along with a D-Link wireless
bridge (DWL-810+) and I'm trying to connect it to my Airport network.
Not having much success--by all indications there is a signal being
received by the unit but I get a message that the connection has failed.
Don't really know what to do next; it would be great to hear if anyone
has set up a PS2 this way... the PS2 NGs are full of little kids with
PCs who are absolutely no help!

thanks,

Marcus

I've done something similar, but different enough that it might not be any
help Sad

I don't have an Airport basestation, instead I have a LinkSys BEFW11S4
which serves the same purpose. And I connect my PS2 via cat5 to the
ethernet port of my Airport equiped iBook, not a wireless bridge. I use
Internet connection sharing in OS X, and let the PS2 network setup default
to automatic everything (my machines all use DHCP provided by the wireless
router). Perhaps you could try something similar to ensure that you're not
being thwarted by the PS2 software?

uk.games.video.playstation is the best of the bunch. You could try there.
