I want to burn a cd of a presentation with avi movies so it can be played on
pc's. I have Microsoft Office X and a new eMac. I can burn the cd with the
PPT file and the movies in the same file all linked and they plan on only a
few pc's. They run on all Macs. I then tried burning the cd on a pc
running Office 2002 and that would not play on other pcs either but did on
the Macs. Is there some special secret in linking Avi movies into a PPT
presentation to burn to cd?

Best wishes

John

John,

Links break when I move presentation (and at other times)
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00155.htm

Which leads to...
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;297467

Which, by my interpretation.....looks like it's not possible to insert an avi on a mac and expect it to play on a PC. Or
insert on PC and expect it to play on a Mac.
