We laughed at that one last week. How embarrassing must it be when thing from
the past resurface... found that Ballmer ad yet? The one where he sells
Windows as though it was a cheap car with a think layer of shiny paint? The
guy is mental.

That's pretty damn funny...wasn't Bill Gates an anti-gun advocate ?
I know one thing. This was back in the day when Microsoft was
focused on customer needs. In this case, the gamers. |

Excellent.
Amazing to think how right he was back then when referring to 95 as the
best gaming platform. He wasn't wrong. They did amazing things to move
games away from DOS and onto the Dx APIs. |

But the best games platform is Linux and micoshaftees
know that all too well.
http://www.livecdlist.com - free livecds with games.
So I'm afraid its the public that have lost out
when micoshaft conned itself and the general public
financed by money generated with their OS - a case
of completely unrelated things funding micoshaft's dark
syrup of evil flowing out of Redmond to pollute
unrelated markets. |

Glad your sense of humor isn't as limited as your Linux wallet.

Linux is building up its marketshare of the desktop
It started life after windopws.
The Linux experience is superior and windopws know this too.
Thats why nearly all studios use Linux to make movies.
It won't be long before nearly all games makers
switch to studio quality games with Linux.
Its something windopws can't do.

You will be glad to know
my Linux wallet is open to anything and everything Linux.
I have paid for thousands of pounds of equipment
recently. Oddly none of them seem to have been
pocketed by Micoshaft Corporation.
Its all gone to open source projects.

Maybe Mac is bigger on the desktop than Linux? Maybe Mac commercials
just make it seem bigger than it is, roping in game makers? Maybe open
sourcing code just isn't that enticing for companies who put in alot
of man hours developing games? |

You know the answer. It's a numbers game; Windows has the numbers right
now.

Microsoft has become the gamer in recent years. It games the ISO, it games the
customer's needs, it games the EU...

All of those and one more.
Windows and Mac users *buy* SW.

funny, *I* bought games, including Loki games, so your intimation that
Linux users don't buy games is as relevent as pointing out that Win and
Mac gamers pirate software.
