It is not unlikely that someone will claim that. There have been people in
CSMA who have complained that OS X is not enough like Unix for them. Pretty
hard to make that argument now. Smile

Why should the organization does the certification be not be competent to
do the certification?

Es ist aber selbstverständlich! Because they certified OS X. (This is
the logic of Windroids and Linux Weenies. Consider it the retarded
half-brother of Zen: it makes even less sense.)

Who says it is a worthless certification?

Perhaps a few don't, but the vast majority of Linux admins DO CARE. I'm
simply spreading the good news.

Sure they do, they have to spend 20 more times in TIME to run Linux
compared to running OSX. that is A LOT of money.

Sure it does, it gives people a step up when they are tired of wasting
time with Linux. I'm just trying to help people, why such the negative
response?

??? I'll never leave until everyone is up and running on modern OSX
software and hardware.

Your advocacy of Linux is amazingly poor. Smile

Hm. The last time I set up a Linux system, I had to get a computer to
run it on. But you say you just need to download and install a distro.
Did you download the computer, too? That's a good trick!

Certification is good to have because it qualifies Apple to bid on
governmental software projects.

OS X already is the most popular version of UNIX. All non-Windows Perl
CPAN modules have been compiling nicely on OS X for years. Similiar
story for most other open source projects. So from a practical point
of view, certification doesn't do much for the guy already developing
OS X.

I've nothing whatever against Mac users. Only idiots like Oxford who come
into COLA to post spurious Mac-related advocacy that has no link to Linux.
