Bug#416110: Gnumeric claims to handle XLS but XLS plug-in ..

I'm using a fresh installation of Testing/Etch from about 3 weeks ago or so.

/usr/lib/mime/packages/gnumeric includes this:
"application/vnd.ms-excel; gnumeric '%s'; edit=gnumeric '%s';
description="MS Excel spreadsheet"; test=test -n "$DISPLAY";
nametemplate=%s.xls"

Burt every plug-in listed in Gnumeric's Tools -> Plug-ins... is off by
default

This problem is not reproducible for me. I've set up an etch pbuilder
chroot, added a regular user to it, set up X access per
http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/diary/200601.html.en and started gnumeric.
Tools -> Plug-ins shows all plugins except for "CORBA Interface", "Sample
DataSource" and "UI Hello" to be activate. Specifically, the "MS Excel (TM)"
plugin is active.
