Post subject: BDF font viewer
Archived from groups: comp>os>linux>misc, others (more info?)

I have some uninstalled .bdf fonts.

Is there a viewer that will let me see the characters in those fonts?

I've tried gucharmap and gfontview; neither shows the fontset.

There has to be a way....

There's this freeware http://blog.komeil.com/2009/05/chortkeh-bdf-font-viewer-20.html (Chortkeh BDF Font Viewer 2.0), by http://blog.komeil.com/ (Komeil Bahmanpour), but then it's for Windows.
