Hi All

was wondering if i can get some idea of what people are useing for virus
scanners on Redhat 8. Its sendmail that handels the mail, and people connect
to the server via outlook express ect.....

need something that works on the linux mail server

I assume you want to scan all incoming e-mail for viruses. You can create
a mail scanning system using shell scripts that scan all incoming files
before forwarding them to the mail server. Any command line virus scanner
that returns a value indicating if the file is infected or clean will
work. I use f-prot (free + very regular updates), but I hear that Network
Associates puts out a version of McAffee that you can use.
