Hi there,

I tried to install the following rpms but encoutered several
problems:
openldap12-1.2.11-4
bc-1.06-2

I downloaded the first two but could not install them. After double-click on
them, the harddisk seemed to work but nothing happened. Could it be a bad
download? Does anyone know the correct checksums so I could check the files
with md5?

Also, I was searching for this rpm: IBMJava2-JRE-1.3-7.0. I could not
find it. Several pages where shown with Java-downloads but I wasn't able to
find exact that file. Could anybody tell me the exact URL to download or
tell me another file that includes that?

Thanks a lot!!! I am totally stuck!!

Greetz,

Pascal

Most likely dependency problems, do a manual installation try

rpm -Uvh openldap12-1.2.11-4.i386.rpm

you will get a message that tells you whats may be wrong, it's a lot easier to
know whats wrong than using a stupid nautilus to try to install rpms.
