rpms

hi i am very new to RedHat, i am familiar with FreeBSD, but i wanted to
learn red hat(and use the PVR software called Freevo) Is there a way to
have rpm automaticialy follow dependencies? i need help here and i have done
a google search to no avail.

There is yum and also apt-rpm available to handle rpm with more comfort.
rpm will handle dependencies itself if you give it all rpms in a whole.
