I downloaded the DVD ISO for Fedora 7. I've burned it to disc.
However, every computer I put it in refuses to boot it. Yes my BIOS
is configured correctly (i disabled everything BUT the optical
drive). I see there is another ISO (within this DVD ISO I downloaded,
under the images dir) called boot.iso. Is this the ISO should be
writting out to disk to begin the installation process? Any ideas?

David,

AVM129 (Who that may be) means inside the filesystem tree there is a
file /images/boot.iso. This /images/boot.iso he or she can only see when
the DVD is burned correctly.

First option: Whether or not to you need to activate an option to make
the DVD bootable in the burner software.

Second option: Is to check whether or not the original installation ISO
is of the correct size. If the download failed some how, it might look
like a correct DVD, but still you get strange behavior when trying to
install.

Best regards,

Jan Gerrit
