To clean up in preparation for Opera 9.64, I removed
Opera 9.63 from my Dell laptop using Vista's uninstall app.
That killed Bluetooth (which I use for the mouse). I re-
booted Vista, still no Bluetooth - no icon, no mouse function.
No amount of fiddling with the Bluetooth GUI would bring
it back.
Then I booted up Ubuntu and Bluetooth did not come up.
Then I used the command line ` sudo hidd --search`, and
Bluetooth connected with the mouse. Then I booted up
Vista, and the Bluetooth icon was there and Bluetooth
connected with the mouse. It's like the Bluetooth chip didn't
like something about the Vista Opera uninstall, and only
Ubuntu knew how to soothe it. Weird.
