Post subject: need help reading backup
Archived from groups: alt>os>linux>mandrake (more info?)

I need some help identifying some file formats. I have a backup from a
system that went down. I want to restore the backup data but don't
have a system to do it on. I want to port the data to windows and
import it into a readable format in Excel or Access for accounting
purposes. The data came from a linux system running sql-ledger and
postgres.

Here are the file names from the backup:

BACKUP.@@@
GL44BGT7.DNW
GL44BGT7.KNW
GL44DPT7.DNW
GL44DPT7.KNW
GL44MST7.DNW
GL44MST7.KNW
GL44RPT7.DNW
GL44RPT7.KNW
GL44TRN7.DNW
GL44TRN7.KNW
GLOPTS.DNW
GLOPTS.KNW

The files are partially 50% readable with a text editor but the other
50% is garbled.

I need a way to import the data to a Windows Machine.

Thanks in advance.
