Archived from groups: linux>gentoo>user (more info?)

Hi,
as you will probably notice in my header sSMTP isn't working correct.

Here's what i need to set up:
1 user, lets call him USER wants to use mutt. IMAP is already
configuered. He also needs to use an SMTP-server requirering
authorization. The server address is smtp.spamfreemail.de, lets call the
authorization user AUTH and the password PASS. The server has got a
self-signed certificate. I wan't to use it and encrypt the Password
transmittion via CRAM-MD5 and the whole connection via SSL/TLS.

So what do i have to write into ~/.mutt/muttrc /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf and
/etc/ssmtp/revalias ?

yours sincerely,
Rohan Lean
