Hi,
can anybody lend me a hand in installing the gentoo lisp overlay?
It (http://repo.or.cz/w/gentoo-lisp-overlay.git) is not shown by
layman -L.
I need it for the gcl it offers, which apparently solves a problem
in building maxima with gcl.

Thanks in advance for any hints and tips,

'Andreas

Have you installed git?
Layman will only show those overlays that uses the tools you have
installed on your system, so for example those depending on git will
only listed if you have git installed, those depending on svn will only
be listed if you have subversion installed and so on...
