[gentoo-user] error when emerging libglademm

Hi,


emerge libglademm complained about missing a la file in

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.3

I noticed that there is only a

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4

directory there, so I set a symlink from 3.3.3 to 3.3.4.

Is this an package related issue, and if so, how can I inform
the maintainer about this?

Hi,

If you find some package related bug, or you has a feature-request, or
much better a patch, you should got to bugs.gentoo.org and check whether
it is discovered by others. If yes than add your comment to the existing
entry, if not then create a new bugzilla entry.
BTW. I don't know libglademm, so I don't know, whether it is a package
related stuff, or perhaps you should install gcc-3.3.3 .
