Post subject: [gentoo-user] arts-1.3.1 compile error
Archived from groups: linux>gentoo>user (more info?)

Conterxt: Latest Gentoo on pentium4

After having synced the portage tree (emerge --sync), followed
instructions to modify make.profile, I had a go at rebuilding the
packages to install kde 3.3.1 and the following error popped up:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
etc # USE="-gnome" emerge -u kde
Calculating dependencies / | \ - ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 19) kde-base/arts-1.3.1 to /
>>> md5 src_uri Wink arts-1.3.1.tar.bz2
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking arts-1.3.1.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/arts-1.3.1/work
