[gentoo-user] Move everything held inside my Ximian Evolut..

Hi,

I wish to move everything (mail and contacts) to another computer on
which I plan to continue using Ximian Evolution as my mail client. To
do so can I just copy the folder $HOME/evolution or would I need to
export individual folders to mbox files and then import those files?

copying worked fine for me - should be ok as long as your path (home
dir) is the same as the older machine

Copy the whole .evolution dir, then run evo on the new machine and check
accounts etc. I didnt try to move "just" the mail over, but did the lot
in one go - simpler.
