I think he's looking for an RPM package, which doesn't yet[0] exist on
the build service.
[0] Just sorting out the dependencies now. And, just in case you're
wondering, I really do hate trying to fix issues caused by the various
distributions all doing their own thing.

I don't think he's looking for the tarball, which can now also be found
through:
<URL:http://code.google.com/p/gtk-qt-engine/ >
But is most likely looking for an RPM packages which doesn't yet[0]
exist on the build service.
[0] Just sorting out the dependencies, and getting majorly annoyed at
the various distros while doing so.

And also getting annoyed at knode crashing, not appearing to have sent
the above and so having me double-post

If you want the tarball (I saw in another msg you wanted the rpm), send
me an email with a good address for you and I will email it you.

Thanks, I appreciate your offer, but I think I'm just going back to 3.5
for a while.

As a clarification, the draft replacement for RFC 1036 specifies the use
of the INVALID TLD for mungwed addresses, e.g., none RemoveThis @nomail.com.invalid;
such addresses are guarantied to not be deliverable.

Then have another search for it. There should be some more KDE4
packages available for 11.1, although if you're running the KDE4.3
from the Factory repo, you will have to wait a bit longer as those
ones are still waiting to be built.

I a running 4.2 at the moment. I'll probably just go back to 3.5 for a
while.
Thanks.

Before you do, check and see if you have kcm_gtk installed[0]. It's the
applet that configures GTK looks under KDE.
[0] Found that out after packaging kde4-gtk-qt-engine up, which means I
didn't need to actually make the package in the first place.

Will, does it look like a doable thing to run 3.5 on 11.2..
i'm thinking i'm gonna be forced to switch to Gnome (ran it for years
and not sure why i switched..)

Are you able to get KDE apps and GTK/Gnomes apps to look the same or
share themes?
